The final Missions Forum and Brokerage Event of the HARMONMISSIONS project was held on 16-17 June 2026 in Bratislava, Slovakia, officially marking the end of the project. The event brought together partners, researchers, decision-makers, public institutions and other stakeholders from the Danube region to present the results achieved and discuss their further implementation.
During the HARMONMISSIONS project, partners worked on strengthening the capacities of the Danube Region to support European missions, with a focus on climate adaptation and the development of climate-neutral and smart cities. The Final Forum was an opportunity to consolidate the achieved results, exchange experiences and open up opportunities for continued cooperation after the end of the project
IMTM presented its contribution and key project results
As the leader of Work Package 2 (WP2), the Institute of Advanced Technologies of Montenegro (IMTM) played an important role in the implementation of activities aimed at developing and connecting project results. During the final Missions Forum, Milena Ljutica presented the activities that IMTM implemented during the project, the key results achieved and the experiences gained through working with project partners. A special focus was on the development of the HARMONMISSIONS web environment, which unites three digital platforms developed within the project. The presented results showed how digital solutions can support the availability of knowledge, the exchange of information and the connection of actors involved in European missions.
From project results to future cooperation
In addition to presenting the project results, the final Forum was an opportunity to exchange experiences and connect partners with new potential collaborators. The Brokerage Event enabled participants to discuss future project ideas, funding opportunities and the development of new partnerships within the European Missions. In this way, the completion of the HARMONMISSIONS project did not represent the end of the cooperation, but rather the basis for further use of the developed results and continued joint work on climate resilience, green transition and climate-neutral development of the Danube Region.
The final Missions Forum in Bratislava marked the successful conclusion of the HARMONMISSIONS project and rounded off the partners' multi-year work on connecting regional needs with the goals of European missions. For IMTM, the completion of the project represents an opportunity for the experience gained through the management of WP2, the developed digital solutions and the established partnerships to be the basis for new projects and initiatives aimed at a more sustainable and resilient future.
