Representatives of the Institute of Contemporary Technologies of Montenegro participated in the first MontEDIH conference, held on June 17, 2026, in the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro. The conference was organized by ICT Cortex, a partner in the MontEDIH consortium, and the central topic was the digital transformation of industrial sectors.
The conference brought together representatives of the public sector, companies, the technological community and other stakeholders to discuss the practical application of digital technologies. A special focus is placed on the opportunities that digitization, artificial intelligence and advanced technological solutions bring to agriculture, production, energy and tourism.
Digital technologies as a driver of industry development
The conference was opened with an opening address by the coordinator of the MontEDIH project, prof. Dr. Igor Radusinović, and the presentation of the goals of the conference by ICT Cortex. During the main session, Branimir Bukilić from the company Data Design spoke about how digital technologies are changing production and business processes, with a focus on applications in agriculture, manufacturing, energy and tourism. This was followed by a panel on the importance of digital technologies for business development, which brought together representatives of the public sector and companies from various industries.
Artificial intelligence and examples from business practice
The second part of the program was devoted to the application of artificial intelligence in various industrial sectors, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Public Administration, the telecommunications sector and technology companies. In the technological block, case studies and concrete solutions of the companies Presto, Alicorn and Zuno Games, TiramisuERP, 2BI and Codeus were presented. The conference was concluded with the presentation of the success stories of the companies Agromont and Veletex.
Participation in the conference is an opportunity to exchange experiences and connect different actors involved in the digital transformation of Montenegro. Through the activities of MontEDIH, such events contribute to a better understanding of technologies and their practical application in business.
